Went on 2/4 had delicious toasted Bap- lovely, with beautiful tasty sausages inside, they were so big they came out of the bap. Claire the owner is lovely so are all her staff, food is always cooked fresh & is always hot, delicious & plenty of it, staff on the ball & always cheerful & polite, love going there GREAT PLACE TO EAT

A perfect place to visit whether just for a drink or snack or for a meal. There are also delicious cakes too. Plenty of room outside. Very friendly staff. Ice cream for dogs. It’s very popular and we felt lucky to find parking. But people come and go all the time. We’ll be back for sure

Turned up without a booking with family, 4 children and 3 dogs. Was quickly found a place to sit and served quickly. Lovely staff and excellent food. Cafe has a great atmosphere, warm and welcoming

A lovely cafe on the Tarka Trail which makes a great half way point on a round trip cycling from Barnstaple. They offer a good menu with plenty of options including all day breakfast and roasts on Sunday: I particularly liked the fact that they offered a half portion (see photo) for half the price which was perfect for refuelling but still leaving space for a sweet treat elsewhere on my cycle back! Lots of outdoor space as well as indoor seating in what was the original station house. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Great cofee, baps and sandwiches. The egg bap was served nicely on a warm bap and the sandwich had lovely side salad with seeds and crisps. The cappuccino was lovely and frothy.

Polite, friendly staff. We arrived at a busy time and it was pointed out there was an extended wait for food. No problem, we weren't in a rush. Our fish finger sandwiches came out quicker than expected and were very tasty. The milkshake was delicious. Looking forward to returning. Very dog friendly.

A member of staff saw us in the carpark and directed us to a dif entrance where she met us with a wheelchair ramp. She also found us an available table. She was really helpful. The food was really good. Plenty of choices on the menu. It arrived in reasonable time considering they were very busy as it was half term. We ate inside which was part of the old station platform. Plenty of seating outside too.

We cycled along the Tarka Trail from Bideford and stopped here for something to eat before heading back. Ideally positioned just off the track. There was a good range of food and drinks available. Lovely seating area outside, and the staff were very helpful & friendly
